If you're like most women, the thought of wearing a pair of jeans that acknowledges and even agrees with the fact that your body looks less than stellar may be a bit of a turnoff. However, when those same jeans also make your body look completely hot and promise to fit you in a size smaller than your regular size, the pill becomes a little bit easier to swallow.
The name tummy tuck jeans may remind you of a bad infomercial, but women all over the world are talking quite a bit about the jeans with the stretchy denim that makes your stomach and torso look flatter than they have in years. The cut of the jeans also tends to make your legs look a tad more longer, which is a major bonus for petite woman who usually have to wear heels to make themselves appear taller. The patented material which is somewhat related to Lycra also makes the legs appear slimmer. The material has a bit of suction action to it that almost seems to move and lift your bottom in a way that no other jean or pant material can accomplish.
Granted, the smaller dress size may be a clever marketing tactic but you can't fake how a pair of jeans makes you look. The darker shades of denim also have a way of making you look smart and fashionable. Unlike corsets which try to choke the life out of you and create large rolls of flesh, tummy tuck jeans have a more gentle approach to making your stomach look flat. Imagine the comfort of leggings or sweatpants without the cheesy look of sloppy 80s fashion and you'll have yourself a pair of jeans you'll never want to take off.
Some women may be afraid of the high cut, but nothing frightens people as much as a muffin top staring them straight in the face. The cut of the jeans has a way of making the high waist look less extreme than the cheap variety of jeans you'll find on the clearance rack of your local superstore. Tummy tuck jeans can be a bit on the expensive side for those with a tight budget but if they make you feel better about your appearance and boost your confidence then the higher price tag is probably worth it.
